How to Make Quick Maple Glaze

If you’re feel adventurous, this glaze can also be used on ham or meatloaf.

There is nothing I appreciate more than a quick recipe that really just adds extra pizzazz to your desserts.


For Maple Glaze

  • 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup (see notes)


  1. Add powdered sugar and heavy cream into mixing bowl.
  2. Blend until both are really well incorporated.
  3. Add maple syrup.
  4. Mix until fully combined.


  • If you're looking for a maple syrup substitute, try this recipe with either honey or blue agave.
  • If you want a thinner consistency, add more heavy cream.
  • If you want a thicker consistency, add more powdered sugar.
