Made to pair perfectly with a cup of coffee!

  • 1 stick butter at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon milk at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 eggs at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream at room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare pan per your usual preference.
  2. In your mixing bowl, beat 1 1/2 cups white sugar and butter on a high speed until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in eggs, yogurt, milk, and vanilla.
  4. Switch to a low speed and blend until combined and smooth.
  5. Slowly add in your dry ingredients and staying on that same low speed, mix until just combined.
  6. Pour half your batter into your prepared pan.
  7. Mix together the remaining 1/4 cup of white sugar with 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
  8. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar blend on top of the batter in your loaf pan.
  9. Finish off adding your pound cake into your prepared pan by alternating between your batter and cinnamon sugar, ending with the pound cake batter.
  10. Bake your cinnamon roll pound cake in the oven for 60 minutes or until your cake tester comes out clean.
  11. Once baked, remove from oven and allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing entirely.
  12. As the cinnamon roll pound cake cools, start your icing by combining powdered sugar and heavy cream and mix on a high speed. You may need to add heavy cream or a tiny amount of powdered sugar until your icing reaches a honey-like consistency.
  13. Add 1/4 cup of your icing into a separate bowl.
  14. Sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and mix to combine.
  15. With both icings in your piping bags, drizzle both onto cinnamon roll pound cake before you slice, serve, and enjoy!

  • Room Temperature Ingredients: Be sure to allow your dairy ingredients to reach room temperature. Room temperature ingredients not only combine more effortlessly (no over-mixing needed) but they also trap air so much better. This trap air will expand and produce a fluffy texture during your baking process.
  • Prepared Pan: There will always be the "next best way to prepare your pan" article. Simply put however, the most effective way i find in my kitchen is a light rub of shortening around the sides, parchment paper on the bottom of the pan (for majority of baking pans), & a very light dusting of flour (cocoa powder for chocolate baked goods) all throughout.
